Demo Walkthrough

This page gives a product-facing walkthrough for showing Builder Insights end to end.

It is useful for leadership demos, stakeholder reviews, onboarding, and internal product storytelling.

The admin hostname and demo login still use legacy devrel identifiers during the transition.

Demo arc​

The strongest demo follows one narrative:

  1. show the problem of lost field insight
  2. capture feedback on mobile in the moment
  3. show offline confidence and fast save behavior
  4. switch to the admin portal
  5. show analysis, reporting, and leadership visibility

Before you begin​

  • mobile app installed on a physical iPhone when possible
  • admin portal open in a browser tab
  • demo account logged in or ready to sign in quickly
  • sample insights available in the system
  • screen mirroring ready if presenting live

Act 1: The problem​

Open by explaining the operational pain:

  • advocates hear valuable feedback in the field
  • those insights often end up scattered across notes, chat, or memory
  • leadership and product teams get summaries too late or not at all

Key message:

Builder Insights turns hallway conversations into structured, actionable data.

Act 2: Mobile app capture​

1. Login​

  • open the app
  • show the fast sign-in path
  • emphasize that the field workflow should stay lightweight

2. Home screen​

  • point out quick capture as the primary action
  • show stats and pending sync visibility
  • highlight that the app is designed for speed, not admin complexity

3. Text capture​

  • create one short text insight
  • set type, product area, sentiment, and priority
  • save and confirm the result appears immediately

Suggested demo text:

  • Builder from fintech company struggling with Vector Search indexing. Documentation unclear on index field mapping.

4. Voice capture​

  • record a short voice example
  • show transcription or draft recovery behavior
  • emphasize that capture can happen in under 30 seconds

5. Offline confidence​

  • briefly simulate offline conditions if appropriate
  • show that the insight still saves locally
  • point out pending sync state and automatic recovery on reconnect

6. Event context​

  • open the events/context area
  • show how event selection improves later analysis and reporting

Act 3: Admin portal analysis​

7. Dashboard​

  • open the dashboard
  • show overview stats and high-level trends
  • explain that leadership gets visibility without waiting on manual summaries

8. Insights explorer​

  • open the insights page
  • filter or search by a term used in the captured example
  • show that field input becomes searchable operational data

9. Executive and reporting value​

  • show the executive dashboard or reporting surfaces if available to the role
  • highlight summaries, trends, top issues, and exportable artifacts

10. Supporting views​

  • show leaderboard or world map for activity and geographic context
  • show settings or import workflows briefly if the audience cares about scale and operations

Act 4: The close​

Bring the story together:

  • capture happens in the moment
  • offline does not block the workflow
  • sync moves insights into a shared system
  • admin views turn raw feedback into decisions, reporting, and follow-up
